The point of this site is to highlight the lengths and extremes people go to for social networks, more specifically, insistent friending of people they'll never meet. While ulterior motives are surely at work, it still borderlines on asinine.

This is not to say that social networks are inherently bad, but getting pissed at someone for not reciprocating a friendship with some person half way around the world is a bit much.
